Scott Olin Schmidt

scottolinschmidt.JPGScott Olin Schmidt is a co-founder of RSC Partners.

From 1999-2003, Schmidt had served as Government Liaison Director for the Sherman Oaks, CA-based Valley Industry and Commerce Association (VICA).

Scott is a nationally recognized blogger who publishes weblog about culture, politics, and sports. He has written for Wonkette, Gridskipper, and Spot-On.com.  He has been quoted by Instapundit, Gawker, Defamer, Kausfiles, Hugh Hewitt, and numerous other weblogs.

During California’s Recall election in 2003, Scott appeared multiple times on Fox News Channel as a Republican Strategist.  Starting in February 2002, Schmidt has made numerous appearances as a Republican commentator on Adelphia’s “Week in Review” and “Local Talk” television programs.

Scott is a member of the Executive Committee of the Los Angeles County Republican Party, elected from the 42nd Assembly District.

In 2000, he represented California’s 24th Congressional District at the Republican National Convention.  In 2003, Schmidt was appointed Chairman of the Development Committee of West Hollywood Mayor Jeffrey Prang’s Blue Ribbon Commission.

A resident of West Hollywood, CA, Scott Schmidt holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and an M.S. in International Public Administration from the University of Southern California

Ryan Knoll

ryanknoll.JPGRyan Knoll is a co-founder of RSC Partners.

In addition to almost ten years of public relations agency experience, Ryan helped to found and served as a corporate officer of a publicly traded health care company.  He began his career as a research analyst and speechwriter at the Republican National Committee in Washington, D.C., and worked on the Bush-Quayle reelection campaign in New Hampshire.

Most recently, Ryan was Vice President and General Manager of the Los Angeles office of a nationally respected communications firm that specialized in crisis and high stakes communications.  During this tenure, Ryan counseled clients ranging from celebrities to Fortune 500 companies on media strategy.  His practice focused primarily on legislative, regulatory and litigation issues.

Knoll received his Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. in 1991.
